About

An Israeli conductor shaping the whole orchestra, not just one voice.

From 2021 to 2024 Alon served as assistant conductor at the Israeli Opera — preparing the chorus and cover-conducting pit rehearsals for Carmen, The Marriage of Figaro and La Traviata.

He has participated in masterclasses with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Jenaer Philharmonie, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting at the Peabody Institute with Marin Alsop and Joseph Young.

In rehearsal he draws on folklore, imagery and culture to bring out the story and style of the music — and to keep the room fun.
